11th Annual Meeting, October 02nd-04th, 2009, Munich, Germany

Dear Young Endocrinologists,
I am delighted to invite you to the annual meeting of the “Young Active Research” to be held in Munich in October 2009. In succession to the last meeting in Köln 2008, we continue the tradition and provide you a scientific platform where you can meet other young scientists and clinicians from Germany and all over Europe. The meeting will be mainly held and started at a wonderful quiet location in Herrsching at the Ammersee outside of Munich. On Saturday afternoon, the meeting will be moved to Kloster Andechs, where we will find some time to also learn about the history of this internationally known monastery.  In the case of acceptable weather, we plan a night tour with torches back to Herrsching, where the meeting continues Sunday moring. After the last sessions at noon, we will travel to the city center of Munich, with the optional opportunity to reflect on the meeting on the Oktoberfest before travelling home.

This year, young researchers are again asked to orally present their data about their experimental and clinical endocrine research in English. You can discuss a concept, present work in progress, final data or talk about a case report.

Looking forward to welcoming you in Munich,

U. Lichtenauer and
the local organizing commitee
